When you buy a typical pack of gum at a grocery store, you may be getting more than you bargained for. Modern chewing gums are filled with artificial substances, several of which can even be found in the manufacturing of heavy machinery. In addition, artificial sweeteners like aspartame give these products much of their taste.

Simply Gum aims to provide customers with an organic alternative. Although many gum brands claim to be “organic” in the US, the FDA allows this label even if the product contains synthetic ingredients. Simply Gum does away with this deception and offers gums containing all-natural ingredients. With many different flavors to choose from, Simply Gum gives customers who are looking for unprocessed ingredients plenty of choice and control over what they chew.

The History of Simply Gum

Founder Caron Proschan came up with the idea for Simply Gum in 2014, after she discovered just how artificial mainstream chewing gum was. Wanting to change that, she started making her own homemade gum in her New York City apartment, partnering with local city stores to sell her product. The gum became a hit, and Caron expanded, bringing Simply Gum from a small one-woman project to the established company that it is today. While the gum isn’t being created from scratch in her apartment anymore, it is still being made with love and care in the company’s Brooklyn factory by chefs experienced in making products with all-natural ingredients.

Simply Gum Company Mission

Simply Gum defines their mission as: “No hidden agendas or ingredients.” The New York company is committed to creating chewing gum without artificial ingredients. You won’t find a “gum base,” which is actually plastic and found in most chewing gums, found in Simply’s products. Nor will you find synthetic ingredients, such as gummy polymers or artificial sweeteners, included. Simply Gum is dedicated to transparency regarding the composition of their products, and have passed a battery of tests, allowing their gum to be vegan, kosher and Non-GMO certified.

Benefits of Simply Gum
