The rise of plant-based eating is a relatively recent phenomenon. But as more and more brands discover that foods crafted without meat or dairy aren’t just delicious, but also good for the environment, they are taking plant-based meals to a whole new level. Daiya is a vegan-friendly brand that prides itself on not sacrificing the richness of dairy for a plant-based lifestyle. Offering a variety of pantry must-haves, including mac and cheese and dressings, Daiya is turning up the flavor and convenience factor when it comes to getting dinner on the table and proving that plant-based eating can be easier than ever.

The History of Daiya

Friends for over 20 years, Andre Kroecher and Greg Blake had a shared love of plant-based eating that inspired them to launch Daiya in 2008. The duo firmly believed that plant-based living was better for their health, better for the planet, and better for animal welfare. They wanted to create a brand that reflected their passion. Today, millions share in the belief that plant-based is best, which has pushed Daiya to become a leader in the plant-based, dairy-free foods category. The brand now offers over 30 great-tasting, 100% plant-based alternatives to dairy and looks forward to expanding its offerings for years to come.

Daiya Company Mission

Just because you want to follow a plant-based diet doesn’t mean you should have to ditch your love of cheese. In fact, Daiya wants you to enjoy your savory love affair with cheese, and all your favorite dairy products, to the absolute fullest. The brand’s mission is simple: to give you the delicious joy of dairy, without any compromise.

Benefits of Daiya

Perhaps the biggest benefit of Daiya products is that they offer the same great creamy goodness you would find in dairy products without including any dairy whatsoever. From rich, ooey gooey mac and cheese to luscious dressings, Daiya plant-based alternatives provide the delicious dairy characteristics you desire. Additionally, the brand is careful to craft each product in a completely allergy-safe manner. Whether you suffer from food allergies, are dairy-intolerant, or living vegan, you can rest easy knowing that all Daiya products are free from the following:

Gluten
Dairy
Soy
Eggs
Peanuts
Fish
Shellfish

Daiya is also a sustainable company that is dedicated to producing food responsibly, beginning with the way it’s grown and sourced, all the way to how it’s packaged. The brand is also a founding member of the new Plant Based Food Association (PBFA), a trade association representing the nation’s leading plant-based food companies.
