Sometimes finding the very best nutrition on the planet is about going back to your roots (literally). Such is the case for MegaFood, which has spent close to 50 years creating an extensive line of supplements and wellness boosters that are made with real, whole food ingredients that are as close to their natural state as possible. MegaFood believes that good nutrition shouldn’t come at a massive price—or jeopardize the health of our planet. Along with offering top-of-the line vitamins and supplements, the brand keeps production as earth-friendly as possible through sustainable farming and energy-efficient manufacturing processes. So if you want to kickstart your health in a big way, MegaFood is a must-have.

The History of MegaFood

Fueled by a desire to produce the highest quality supplements available, Carl E. Jackson founded MegaFood in 1973. He became owner and president in 1989 and helped foster the company’s focus on using whole food ingredients to deliver the most wholesome, purest nutrition possible. In 2003, the company branched out to create its practitioner-strength sister brand, Innate Response. And in 2018, MegaFood became a Certified B Corporation by the global nonprofit B Lab by meeting rigorous standards of social and environmental performance. Today, the brand’s extensive line of vitamins and supplements is available throughout the country.

MegaFood Company Mission

For over 45 years, MegaFood has had one goal in mind: To produce superior whole food supplements and improve people’s lives through the most authentic nourishment possible. That means sourcing the most wholesome, nutrient-dense foods and rigorously testing formulations so they are sure to deliver the most wellness support possible.

Benefits of MegaFood

When it comes to crafting truly premium supplements, MegaFood is always thinking one step ahead of the competition. In fact, the brand has partnered with a team of scientists at the University of New Hampshire. Together, they are working to determine which whole foods work best at delivering vitamins and minerals while ensuring the foods maintain their freshness. The brand’s manufacturing facility includes an ISO (International Standards Organization) 9001 Certified Lab where all ingredients are tested to ensure they meet MegaFood’s strict purity specifications. The lab also ensures that all products are free of gluten, dairy, and soy. Additionally, MegaFood uses organic and non-GMO certified ingredients whenever possible.
